A Very Special Day
with Thomas the Tank Engine and Train

Strasburg, PA is the U.S. Mecca for trainfans of all ages and interests. On Father's Day 2002, Jared and brother Zachary (not pictured) with their Mom, Dad, Grandma (not pictured), Grandpa and "Arthur" from the "Please Touch Me Museum" (in Philadelphia, PA), discover the wonders of the Strasburg Railroad and the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum. "Mother Tricia" at lower left tries out a trainmaster's pre-cellular telephone variety, while at lower right "Dad Dale" and Jared just enjoy the ride.

Below, an earlier “Thomas” rests in a farmer's field in Oil City, Canada.

Jared is in love with "Thomas the Tank Engine," but also enjoys .  .  .

. . . a visit with "Mr. Norm" and the Normaned Model Railroad empire.
