Here is a minisheet showing several emblems of railways from different countries in the border; among them the winged railway wheel emblem of the Norwegian State Railways (Norges Statsbaner) as it appeared in the "intermediate" design period during the years 1930-1979. A winged wheel has been the trademark of many railways, and is still in use by NSB, but today in a very simplified form.
