Train
with steam locomotive passing Kylling Bridge at Verma, a station on
the 114 km long
Rauma railway from Dombås to Åndalsnes. This stone arch bridge
is the most impressive railway bridge in Norway, appearing very
harmonic and elegant in the wild and steep surroundings, 77 m long,
a span of 42 m on 56 m height across the river Rauma. The bridge was
under construction for nine years before the line was opened in
1924.
